level 1-2-3/4 Once we've chosen our books we have to solve the problems in the book. I really like problem solving because we can chose what level we think will chalenge us instead of getting something given to you that is to easy or to hard for you.
BASIC FACTS
For basic facts we can choose to go on the Ipads to play a game and take screen shots as we go when we get a high score or when we just get a score the main thing is that it shows that you are improving, or if you are going a bit lower then improving or maybe if you just 1 point ahead every time it i improving. The other option is to write down some facts you can learnt every time or you can make flash cards.
MATHS WORKSHOP/FOLLOW UP
For maths workshop we learn stuff that we lake in. We learn it in groups that also don't know stuff that they need to learn, so we take a pre-test on a subject, whatever we get completely wrong we have to learn in our workshop, whatever we get half right we do for maths independent (another maths time) and whatever we get completely right we don't need to learn. We then need to put Maths Follow-Up close as possible to our Math Workshop. Then we need to take pictures and make a educreations, Imovie or whatever you want you just need to reflect and teach other people on what you learnt!!!
LESSONS
ThisTerm (Term 3) we're having workshops and we have to to a follow up after it. The follow up it basically a reflection of what we did in our workshop and for someone who dosen't know what we learnt for us to teach them
This week for maths we didn't do a math workshop. Because we had a maths IKAN test it was a really hard. There were different stages it got harder but the questions got slower so it was ok but I struggled on stage 5.
Week 6
This week for maths my group did improper fractions these are some fractions we did and answered. We did: 5 thirds of a pizza is 1 and 2/3 out of 12 fifths you can make 1 and 3/4 and you can make 3 and 3/8 out of 27 eights.
here are some maths Questions:
12 X 3 = 9 X 9 = 7 X 12 = 12 X 11= 1X1X1X1X1X1X0X1=
These are some maths problems
Jake and John have a lemonade stand they have about 20 people that come in winter every 2nd week and the lemonade is 5$ and in summer they have about 40 people that buy lemonade every second week so how much do get payed in summer?
In Class we do maths. We do problem solving, Basic facts as I have put on my wiki, Maths
workshop and Maths Follow up.
PROBLEM SOLVING
When we do Maths problem solving we get a maths questions book there are three levelTable of Contents
